Growing To Maturity As Christians

The kind of choices we make as Christians shows your  maturity in Christianity.Train your conscious to distinguish between good and evil.
Be ready to change.
Put the word of God in practice.
In the whole bible,we find love as the greatest thing between our relationship as human beings and our creator God.But before I major on love,Lets take a look  "Making choices as a mature christian in life...

i)A mature christian should be able to desire to develop the depth of understanding God's word.
ii)He or She must have self-evaluation rather than self criticism.
iii)Mature Christians seek unity in the body of Christ.
iv)A mature Christian will carefully study and make observation according to the word of God.
v)Mature Christians make a choice of being confidence in their ministry or what they are doing.(Your ministry will define your shape and determine who you are.)
vi)The feelings and experiences of a mature christian shall be evaluated in accordance to Gods Word.
vii)Before you make a choice as a mature christian, ask yourself if it will glorify God.

In the new Testament,We see Jesus summarizing the ten commandments given at Mt Sinai in the old testament into one major command.."LOVE"

Matthew 22:37-40 (NIV)37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

In John 15 :10 ,the Bible says...."If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in his love."(NIV)
This means as a mature Christian, you must remain in love, not just love for our friends but also for our enemies as stated in Luke 6:32-33....“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
As a mature christian, purpose in heart to be loving....for that is the greatest of commandments.
